From 2005 to 2006 he served as the Grisham Writer in Residence at the University of Mississippi. Knight currently teaches creative writing at the University of Tennessee and lives in Knoxville with his family.
Alex George is an Englishman who lives, works, and writes in Missouri. His new novel is Setting Free the Kites (Putnam). It is the story of two friends, Robert Carter and Nathan Tilly, who meet in 1976 in a small coastal Maine town. The boys take summer jobs at the local rundown amusement park where they learn some harsh truths about family, desire, and revenge. George’s previous novel is A Good American.
