Featuring

Musical Guests:

Water Liars

Author William Boyle notes, “If you haven’t listened to Water Liars, let the music be your introduction. Is it important to know that Bryant is from Mississippi and Kinkel-Schuster is from Arkansas, that they’re shaped by the writers whose influence shines through in everything they make – Frank Stanford and Barry Hannah especially – and that their pain is the pain of the wretched and beautiful South? Sure, and it’s all there in the songs.”

Water Liars will perform an hour long concert from 5:30pm – 6:30pm just before the Thacker Mountain Radio Hour on Double Decker’s Caterpillar Stage (North Lamar Blvd).

Reverend John Wilkins

“You Can’t Hurry God” is Reverend John Wilkins’ debut full-length album. In it he showcases an individual sound that is regional and universal. This recording is a culmination of a lifetime spent learning from, and ministering to some of the luminaries of North Mississippi and Memphis. And, this sound can have only been made by a child of the North Mississippi Hill Country.

Reverend John Wilkins will perform an hour long concert from 7:30pm – 8:30pm immediately following the Thacker Mountain Radio Hour on Double Decker’s Graduate Hotel Stage (North Lamar Blvd).
