Join us for a reading by Robert Bausch (Far As The Eye Can See) and music by And The Echo and Libby Rae Watson. Hear it live 92.1 or www.myrebelradio.com. The show is hosted by Jim Dees and our house band, The Yalobushwhackers.
Born in Georgia and raised near Washington, DC, Robert Bausch will visit Mississippi to read from Far As the Eye Can See, a novel that tells the story of Union soldier Bobby Hale.
Based out of Oxford, Mississippi, And The Echo is a project born out of a mutual love of ambient, electronic pop between Morgan Pennington and Winn McElroy. Begun in March 2014, the duo is working on a full-length studio album and playing shows throughout the Southeast. An upcoming 45 will be released in mid summer 2014.
Mentored by Sam Chatmon, Libby Rae Watson carries on the tradition of old style Mississippi Blues.
