Lauren Nossett

Lauren Nossett is the author of Indie Darling (Flatiron Books) a mystery set in Nashville, where a Dolly Parton–loving private detective is drawn into the disappearance of an enigmatic pop star.

“Thrilling…[A] propulsive, glittery mystery.” —Lisa Unger, New York Times bestselling author

“Pulse-pounding.” —Katy Hays, New York Times bestselling author

Kelly Williams is a Dolly Parton–loving, sports-car-driving private investigator in Nashville who helps women.

Sisters in search of lost siblings. Wives determined to uncover affairs. Daughters haunted by men lingering outside their windows.

Clients trust her because she’s honed a specialized skill set.

Her latest client is Sarah Owens, better known as Seraph, the magnetic and polarizing lead singer of the indie sensation, The Garden Snakes. After a series of threats turns violent, she hires Kelly to identify her assailant.

Then, in the middle of a Nashville performance, Seraph is shot on stage. The ambulance carrying her disappears. The city reels and conspiracy theories – and reader’s heads – swirl.

Lauren Nossett is a professor turned novelist and the award-winning author of the thrillers The Resemblance and The Professor.

Her books have been featured in The New York Times, Buzzfeed, E! News, and Paste Magazine.

Described as “elegant and thoughtful” by The New York Times and “impossible to put down” by Paste, The Remblance won the International Thriller Writers’ Thriller Award for Best First Novel.

Nossett lives in Nashville.

Music

Cash's Juke Joint

Macon, GA is a storied music town, home to Little Richard, Otis Redding, the Allman Brothers and dozens more. Angel “Cash” Ocasio, Jr. and his collective, Cash’s Juke Joint, is a worthy addition to Macon’s strong and funky musical lineage.

Ocasio’s debut album is The Road Home (Wild Ivory Records). It includes the single, “Trying to Understand.”

“Ocasio’s instrumental prowess stands out across the 11 tracks on “The Road Home”, but the songs never suffer from overplaying or excessive production. Sure, this record is a guitar junkie’s dream, but Ocasio’s smooth vocalizing and strong songwriting skills never take a back seat to his searing solos.” — Living Blues Magazine

The Kat Miller Band

Katrina Miller is a Mississippi-based fiddler, violinist, songwriter, and bandleader whose playing is rooted in classical training and Southern traditions.

After decades elevating other artists, (including 15 years accompanying songwriter Cary Hudson) Katrina is stepping forward with her own band:

Katrina Miller (violin, vocals, songwriter); Shelby Kemp (acoustic/electric guitar/vocals); Richard Dabbs (bass) and Andy Pate (percussion).
