The Como Mamas

The Como Mamas are gospel singers from the small town of Como Mississippi. On their brand new, critically acclaimed album, “Get An Understanding,” there are only three instruments – the powerful, raspy voice of Ester Mae Smith, the deep soothing voice of Angela Taylor, and the energetic, spirited vocals of Della Daniels. Do yourself a favor and see the Como Mamas sing live – the harmonies they create are so powerful, musical accompaniment is not missed.

Willi Carlisle

Carlisle’s multi-instrumental stories hoot, stomp, and saunter through joys and troubles uniquely southern and timelessly true. Equally comfortable on banjo, fiddle, and guitar, Carlisle has earned accolades for his versatility with performances at the Ozark Folk Center, the Fayetteville Roots Festival, Ozarks at Large, the Poets Loft, and with opening performances for touring acts like National Park Radio, Daniel Romano and Shawn James.
