This is the stunningly accomplished and profoundly affecting final volume in the tetralogy charting the marriage of Russell and Corrinne Calloway, now in their sixties, against the backdrop of various crises that have bedeviled our society in the past forty years.
Jay McInerney is the author of eight previous novels including Bright Lights, Big City and Bright, Precious Days, a collection of short stories, and three collections of essays on wine.
He lives in New York City and Bridgehampton, New York.
Nubia Yasin is a poet, singer and filmmaker based in Memphis, Tennessee.
Her sound, crafted in partnership with acclaimed underground hip hop producer, IMAKEMADBEATS, is a unique blend of eclectic influences, pulling from such disparate artists as Sade and Morrissey.
Her releases include the single, Slightly Sacred.
She can also be heard on Fine Line (with fellow Memphian Rachel Maxann) from the album, Stuntarious, Vol. 5.
Nubia Yasin serves as Chief Storyteller of TONE, a Memphis based Black Fine Arts non-profit.
Born and raised in Atlanta, Ga., Alex Huey’s songwriting is deeply rooted in southern folk music, “Nashville twang with an aftertaste of ‘90s style.”
After years performing, most notably with her former band, Huey & The Heaven Sent, Huey has earned her props in the bustling Atlanta music scene.
Recent releases include the singles, Dueling Flame, Right in the Place I Left, Chimes and the four-song EP, Verity Demos.
Her full-length LP, with the Heaven Sent is How to Keep Things Alive.
This past March Huey toured the Northeast with songwriter Jacob Kynard (Dial Back Sound).
Huey’s new single is due this spring.
